My son has grown up watching Christian animations on Dish Network (The Storykeepers and Friends and Heroes) as well as from other videos. He knows many of the Biblical stories. However, we wanted him to begin looking at the Bible as more than cartoons so as not to diminish it's value. He loves to read it! He is just learning to read fairly fluidly and feels empowered when he reads a story he recognizes. The blue letters are not a problem for us. The font size is small for me but not for him.
