I am so pleased with this playpen! I’ve had it for two months now and it’s been a game changer! Assembly was very easy, it feels very sturdy when it’s put together (even when my daughter leans on it), and I love that you can make it into different shapes. It’s fairly easy to fold down and move around which was another big selling point. I actually chose this one specifically because of the brackets covering the joints. They feel very secure, and they are even challenging for me to pull up on at times, which I love because I did not want to worry about my daughter pulling them off and choking on the brackets! So grateful for a safe play space for my girl!Pros:- Works great in our space!- I like the color palette on this and how it works with our existing decor.- My baby likes the ability to play in a good sized area.Perfect heights for our one year old working on standing and walking.Cons:- Easy for my three year old to unlock and let the baby out.- Joints easily loosened and moved about.I absolutely love this! I purchased it for my daughters 1st birthday to keep 1 year old and younger kids safe. My only regret is not purchasing it sooner! I highly recommend it from 6 months. It helps keep the safe from crawling and climbing or picking little things because we all know those lote tiny fingers find everything your broom/vacuum doesn’t ?I have a mixed review on this purchase. I didn’t post pictures because it looks like every other picture posted here. I purchased my first set about 6 months ago, and my second set about a month ago. My first set was 5 stars, my second set was 1 star. Some time in between the two sets, they changed the design for the shape of the pegs/holes where these pieces snap together. My second set would not have been usable if I didn’t have the first set to lock the pieces together in an every other old/new set piece way. This is the only reason I didn’t return it, because the pieces for the new set do not lock together. The holes are too tight and the peg shape doesn’t match the hole shape. This was extremely disappointing because I LOVE my first set.Having used the old set for about 6 months (ages 6 months to 1 year, plus having kids up to 18 months play in it as well)...To the good points:- The door lock mechanisms work well.- All my cords, tables, etc. survive the small one. This is his main play space where I don’t have to follow him like a hawk.- It is sturdy. My foster baby is a brute. Seriously. He can fall into this and not get hurt. He can shape it and it won’t knock over. Same with other friends’ little ones.- He was a crib baby before he came to my home, and we are working hard to catch him up on milestones. This has helped him learn to pull up and stand because it’s a perfect height for practicing.- Just put a foam play mat under it and you are good to go. We have the Babycare Large mat for his. One mat per playpen set.- I like that you can adjust the size. One time we took 8 colored wall pieces camping with us as a small play area.- He likes the play toy board it includes. (I recommend you take the round foam letter pieces out for smaller kids, so they don’t chew and eat them.)Overall, having a pen like this has been a lifesaver. Now that he is almost one year old, we got a second one. Wish it was as easy to connect the pieces as the first one.Tips:- Just get two at the same time if you have the room for it to grow, or if your child will need one in two places in the house. These pens are expensive but really worth it. I justified it by saying “well, I just won’t go to Red Lobster for dinner 3-4 times”.- When your child hits 10-11 months, you will wish you had 2 of them. Expand and put the bigger toys in.- Again, remove the foam letter pieces on the play board. Plenty to do without them.- Thou shalt use the gripper bottoms provided. Thou shalt take said gripper bottoms when traveling. (Seriously, I forgot them once. Never again. This is not stable without the gripper attachments, even on a foam mat).- If you get two, you can enclose a sofa/chair. This is nice for my mom (grandma) who has some hip issues. Please know that this works only when they cannot climb onto the sofa yet. But, the overall idea is the ability to enclose an adult sitting space in some way.SAFTEY CONCERNS...Let me address this please. To those who had their child get their arm stuck in places...yes...mine has had his arm get caught twice as well. He lived and was never going to die. If your child is big enough to get their arm caught at the top of the gate, they are also big enough to howl at you while you are one room away trying to fill their sippy cup and stand with you while you help them remove it. They won’t instantly lose their ability to stand, fall, and snap their arm off. If they do have the ability to fall and arm snap, you probably shouldn’t get your child a gated pen at all. This is the type of gate where you can leave your child but you want to be in ear shot in case they need something. Though I would argue you should approach any gated pen like that. If you want a guaranteed safe space to leave your kid, put them in their crib for a few minutes. These are to help support you and provide your kid a safe MONITORED place to play (so your TV cords stay in tact, so your coffee table is not an ER Visit, and so your pets can lay on the sofa and not wonder if their tail will survive). You want true safety...embrace your crib for a few minutes. They are designed for true safety. So, would I recommend this product? Well, I would absolutely recommend a pen like this. 100%! I like it way more than the taller gate-looking ones that connect. We have a set of those. Meh. Now, would I recommend this specific pen? If you asked me based on my first pen, yes. If you asked me based on the second, no.This is one of the best purchases I've made as a mom of three. I wish I had this when my two older kids were small. We put this in our living room for our 11 month old, and he actually enjoys it! The toys connected to one of the panels are good quality except the circles that have animals and letters on them. They're made of a very flimsy foam-type material, and I think it would be easy for an older child to get the piece out if they really wanted to. Otherwise, we love it. It's probably about 5 by 5 when it is fully assembled. SWe bought this for our 10 1/2 month old and 3 month old grandsons. I saw reviews about it being dangerous. As with any help, you are the caregiver this just is a helper in caregiving. If you construct it in a square on thick carpet, the child cannot move it around. The door is easy to lock and unlock from the outside. Many times I will unlock the door so he doesn’t always feel trapped and let him out to play in the area outside (he crawls in and out) but when I need him to be put somewhere safe for just a couple of minutes, I place him in here. I would never leave him a long time unsupervised. And now he is turning one year old I’ve had this since early May. He is smart and I saw him stack toys to be taller so he could crawl over the top. I could have never made it without this with these two boys. Our daughter is a teacher and is getting out for the summer and wanted to buy one but with the economy being so bad, she could not afford one. We are going to move it to her house. We broke it down into four walls to have the carpet shampooed. This was super easy. I gave it five stars because it is a lifesaver when used as it should be.I put off getting a kiddie corral as long as I could, but once my 1 year old grandson came to stay with us for a while, I decided that I needed to invest into a sturdy, safe space for him. This is big enough to give him plenty of room to play, while keeping him safe and sound. The interactive activity wall is appealing to him and the door fascinates him. Now that he is starting to walk, even when he gets tired of being in the play pen, if we open the door, he will spend an hour going in and out of it. He is fascinated with the door! I really think it has helped him learn how to walk and balance. He started out holding onto the side with one hand, but now he's starting to take several steps unassisted. When one of his favorite movies is on, he will stand in the corner of the corral, like a boxer in a boxing ring. It's hilarious! This purchase is well worth the investment! I think it will be around for many years! Delivered quickly and is great quality! My 8 month old baby loves it and can now play safely on our mezzanine area without us worrying. Only thing I would say is to check that there are enough anti slip supports/grip in the delivery. We only received 8 when there should have been 10. For stronger or older children, the anti slip grips are essential for holding the panels securely together.I contacted the seller regarding the missimg parts and they promptly sent 6 additional anti grip supports from China. Arrived within a week via DHL.Also great that you can purchase additional panels to make the space larger.Doesn't come with mats but there are so many options to purchase these via Amazon.Really happy with purchase and would buy again. Seller provided great service. Thank you!Great playpen. Fits together very easily and in less than 5 minutes. Honestly you don't even need to look at the enclosed instruction sheet. The build and size are great, fits perfectly in the corner of our room. Nice features on the back section for our little one to interact with. She's been in it for at least 3 hours on and off to day and never complained (unless she required feeding!).I didn't do any research on playpens, just saw this on the Amazon deal and went for it, primarily for its look and size and I'm not disappointed one bit. Comes neatly packed too, I thought it would be multiple boxes but only 1 and protected well inside.FYI - The foam mats in my photos in the playpen aren't provided with the product. I purchased these separately and cut them to size.5 gold stars from me.You know that feeling of stress and frustration when your baby learns to crawl and all you want to do is pee but you can't because the little bugger won't stop following you everywhere? Yeah.... This godsend of a wall fixes this. It keeps baby safe (and when they start standing and throwing stuff, entertained) while you take care of business. Heck, it gives you the chance to walk away for a short break when baby becomes extremely grating on your nerves (because no matter how amazing raising a child is... It's STRESSFUL). Also, it was extremely easy to assemble, and when you form corners with it, it becomes very sturdy.Thank you for existing, playpen. This tired mom loves you.
