Both my 11-year-olds, girl and boy, enjoy (and have re-read) these books. My kids are pretty obsessed with the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus book sets, and while I love their enthusiasm, I do want them to read other books as well! :-) The David Walliams books have been perfect - fun and entertaining for them and - just like the Percy Jackson, etc. books - make them want to stay up past bedtime to read "just one more chapter, please?" A winner!!
