The longest of "The Century" trilogy, this book is fabulous. The trilogy is a fabulous look at our history even though they are novels. Follett, in interview, said that he spends at least a year developing the characters before writing. They are so real and so connected to world changing events throughout, that I have a hard time letting go of the fact that they are pure fiction.I never read books twice, but may make an exception to all three books.Thank you Mr. Follett; you never disappoint
