This is an absolutely indispensable book for anyone more than superficially interested in Chinese thought. It's incomprehensible that Stanford U Press has allowed it to go out of print. I seem to have bought the last new copy of vol 1 at the standard price, from Amazon. Volumes 2 and 3 have recently been available only at scandalously inflated prices, affordable only by collectors who buy them as investments. Amazon should try to do a service to readers by finding more copies of all three volumes available at under $100 each.
