Our 8 year old daughter LOVES these books and was so excited to have the collection. While I have not read them, based off our conversations about the storyline and details, they seem very age appropriate. She goes around looking for mysteries to solve now!My daughter had heard about Nancy Drew from her grandmother, but she loves mysteries. She was a little bit apprehensive at first, but since it was updated for today's audience, once she started reading, she loved it. She really enjoys that it's only girls.Nice collection that I think my niece will like for Christmas, at a good price.I love these books. Great for my 4th grader who struggles with her reading a bit. She is slower than average and does better with an exciting book that keeps her interested.These were a perfect gift for my 8 year old granddaughter.
