I actually enjoy this textbook. It's one of the most useful, practical, and applicable for me as a future teacher. I had another one by Gail Thompkins in a previous semester too, and it was just as useful. It's not a boring read, the subjects & ideas are divided well & easy to digest. It actually has fun to read vignettes and classroom ideas in it. I get through it quick and it's not a chore to slug through assigned reading.Boo to Pearson for the dang price hike on these though.
